Diesel Locomotive

This is a diesel locomotive graphic I made to serve as a forum avatar, and also to double as a paint scheme test for model trains. The letters RWR stood for Rim of the World Railway, as the train route would travel across a mountain pass.

Upper Left: Part of a sculpture in the St Ives train station. It is made up of hundreds of art palettes, the pearly feel just took me my storm it is simply awash with the rainbow!
Lower Left: A cafe in St Austell- first of all I hated the loose kerning on the sign, yet the futuristic feel really suited the environment, a very crowded and cramped space. I believe the surrounding environment must always be considered even in typography.
Right: Hung on a draper in my friend’s church, passion is something that does not need perfect letter-spacing and accurate grid layouts, it shows a simple, humble love.
